End of Semester

Dear Viewers, all of you who like, love and those who just view for the sake of viewing, we say thanks for your patronage and concern, we sincerely apologize for not being here for a while, due to students having exams and all, although we won't fail to give you updated information that will be of extreme benefit to you from 100 through to 400 level, even for PDG and Masters. So we heard that law in our humble school isn't being taken care of in the sense that there's no further education for them after they are through with 4 YEARS, we don't think that's fair, so we made our research and findings and we have come up with a conclusion that those tales and words are typical Fables, those of you NOUN Students that don't know what it is, we say you should read your course notes well, mostly GST101 and also to learn how to be a good student, consult GST107.  Also for those of you still hoping that you will go to NYSC, please we beg you to keep the HOPE alive, and keep your fingers crossed.

LATEST GIST

FABLE PROVEN WRONG.

Asides the fact of the honorable law student's tale being a fable, what can we say about the NYSC??? when will we put our minds at ease on this issues??

On the note of the current ongoing e-exams, that began 27th of April and Ends 27th of May, we have received information that this was just a trial run for the outgoing 1st semester students, and for the next semester, they will try harder, also some of them said they will eventually hack the minds of the people setting the questions.

The exams for this semester were mostly gotten from our Humble school's NOUN iLearn and we made our research and it was proven that it was mostly gotten from there, so for the new intakes of next semester, get a laptop or go to a cafe and get documents from NOUN iLearn, and be a wide reader.

More Posts and information will be coming soon.

Stay Cool, Connected and Blessed.

Firstly,
As we all know, the POP is still on and students of NOUN in our humble center are really having different views about it, some will say it was ok, others are like it was just there, and while the others are like "No comment". NOUN Examination Time-table

Hello dears, if you have gone through our previous post on Exam Things v.2 you would have seen that it was outlined there that the examination time table is not yet on the portal, while we were making research, we found a page on facebook saying that the examination time-table is on the portal without clear discernment of which of the examination time-table is out. its a known fact that those writing POP, their time-table has been out, but for 100-200 level, it is not yet out on the portal. This is our proof....

100 Level

 800 Level

So to you our fans and cherished ones, can you help us??? When will the time-table for e-exams be out on the portal??

P.S
If you can go to your study center, then go and check the time-table or you call someone you know in the center to help you out, because time waits for no man, and definitely, NOUN Exams doesn't wait till when you are ready for it.

Best of Luck to you all.

Stay Cool, Connected and Blessed.

Open Distance Learning (ODL)

Lots of people have different sayings about Open Distance Learning, but to us at National Open University of Nigeria, it is our standard and foundation, and also it is a system that's been used in western countries and we are privileged to be among the first few to receive this. Below is an article gotten from All Africa although it has been edited to fit us here, the article referenced our VC in the person of Prof Vincent Ado Tenebe in his address to this semester's matriculation students.

Enjoy.....

To sustain the existing standard and quality of Open and Distance Learning (ODL), the Vice Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof Vincent Ado Tenebe, has warned that matriculation is not a guarantee of graduation.
Addressing the 29,092 new students of the institution in a message delivered simultaneously at the existing 62 study centers across the country, the VC described the ceremony as a gateway, marking the beginning of training in respective programs of choice.
Represented by Deputy Vice Chancellors, Deans, and Study Center Directors at the respective centres, Prof Tenebe said matriculation is a platform to remind new students of their journey through the institution.
He told the student that NOUN is not a playground or picnic venue, emphasizing that it is 'a conclave of busy minds and hardworking people committed to excellence and acquisition of knowledge, skills and spirit of innovation aimed at creating a highly skilled and qualified workforce for the nation and the global community'.
Stressing the need for the students to have a good knowledge of computer, the VC added that the institution makes maximum use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in all areas of its operations.
He added that apart from instructional materials in print, audio CDs and Braille, there are ICT platforms, such as NOUN iLearn, which provide online real time interaction for staff and students and also simplify registration process, payment and make access to results easier.
Recalling the automatic employment offered two first class graduates of the university at its fourth convocation ceremony, the VC charged the students to work hard to be part of the renewed reward system and other incentives in the kitty for diligent and hardworking learners.
Prof Tenebe revealed that NOUN is in partnership with ODL universities not just in Africa but across the world, and that it engages in annual students and staff exchange programs with its partners across the globe.
